Meeting Minutes – May 14, 2007

Priority Discussion
·       Per May meeting, members discuss top three housing priorities.

Trust Documents: Review and comment on documents, execute with revisions or table to July meeting.

Community Preservation Act
·       Update on Status of CPA, public hearing date and action City Council needs to take to get on fall ballot
·       Trust action on CPA, i.e. letter of support to City Council

Affordable Housing Development example
·       Michael to discuss how the Beverly Affordable Housing Coalition identifies affordable housing opportunities, forms partnerships and secures funding for development projects.  Their new initiative, Gloucester Crossing, will be discussed.

Next Steps
·       Housing Staff to put together scope of consultant for review at next meeting – scope will be limited to developing an action plan and developing strategies to capitalize the trust fund.
