City of Salem Trust Funds – Applying For Assistance
The Board of Commissioners of Trust Funds provides yearly grants to local agencies to assist the Board in reviewing applicants for general assistance, fuel assistance, housing needs and emergency assistance. The grant money is distributed on a quarterly basis and is restricted to Salem residents only. When the money is depleted the agencies must wait until the next quarter for additional funds. Funds are issued in July, October, January and April. Applicants interested in applying for City Trust Funds, must apply at one of the following agencies:
