Absentee Voting
Voters who are unable to vote on election day due to physical disability, religious beliefs, or out of town travel, may vote by absentee ballot. State law limits these use of absentee ballots for the above three reasons, only.  Applications for absentee ballots may be obtained from the City Clerk's Office.

Applications may be submitted by mail or in person.  A letter to the City Clerk, requesting an absentee ballot, serves as the application for an absentee ballot. The letter must include the following information:
name of voter;
voting address;
reason for absentee ballot request;
where ballot is to be mailed;
party of ballot requested (in state primary only);
and signature of voter.

The deadline for requesting an absentee ballot is 12:00 Noon the day before the Election.
