The City Clerk administers all local, state and federal elections held in the City of Salem.
This year, 2012, marks a Presidential and State election. The 2012 Presidential Preliminary Election will be held on Tuesday, March 6, 2012, State Primary Election will be held on Thursday, September 6, 2012, the State Final Election will be held on Tuesday, November 6, 2012. Polls will open at 7:00 am and will close at 8:00 pm.
