North River Canal Corridor Transportation Study
The Department of Planning and Community Development is working with consultant Fay, Spofford & Thorndike on a study examining the impacts of redevelopment projects in the North River Canal Corridor (NRCC) and exploring potential transportation improvements in the area. Based on comments from the first public meeting held on January 19, 2012, the process will now include a third public meeting to provide the opportunity for further community comment.
Please submit any written comments to Danielle McKnight at dmcknight@salem.com by February 7, 2012, so that our consultant can take them into consideration as he refines his recommendations for discussion at the 2nd public meeting to be held in late February/early March. The date will be posted as soon as it is scheduled.
