Salem- The City of Salem Recycling Committee in collaboration with North shore Recycled Fiber is holding a shredding day. Bring down your old records or any paper related information you want destroyed, we will take care of it!
 
Shredding Day specifics:
 
When:                   Saturday November 22, 2008
                             8am until Noon
Where:                  North shore Recycled Fibers, 53 Jefferson Avenue, Salem
Why:                     To provide an opportunity for individuals to safely dispose of                                 personal documents such as bank statements, financial                                            statements, and medical records
 
Bring your personal papers to be shredded while you watch! First file or copy-paper size box is free; additional boxes can be shredded for $5 each.
 
This is the latest of several events that the Recycling Committee has participated in, including Salem's Living Green and Renewable Energy Fair, the Carlton School's Earth Day Fair, the Haunted Happenings Parade and outreach efforts for residents and businesses throughout the City.
