New Location, Same Great Event
 FREE Book Swap Saturday February 27, 2010; 10am -  1pm!
 
Salem- On Saturday February 27, help yourself at a Free Book Swap! Held at a new location, this is the third book swap sponsored by SalemRecycles, the City of Salem Recycling Committee. The event takes place at the St. Anne’s Church school building, 9 Cleveland Street (right off 290 Jefferson Avenue) on Saturday, February 27th from 10am to 1pm.  
 
The book swap is a great way to recycle your unwanted books, CDs, DVDs and videos. Take home a whole new selection of media items to chase away those winter blues.  All books are accepted—even text books. No swap is needed--you can donate materials, take materials or both!  Drop off will be held Friday February 26, from 6-7 pm, and Saturday, February 27 starting at 9:30 am.

When:                    Saturday February 27, 10 am until 1 pm
                             
Where:                   St. Anne’s Church in the school building, 9 Cleveland                                              Street.  The school is on the side street next to the church which                             is located at 290 Jefferson Avenue.


Why:                      To promote re-use and recycling of books and other media                                         items.


Drop-Off:              Friday, February 26, 6 pm - 7 pm at the St. Anne’s Church                                         School, 9 Cleveland St, or Saturday February 27, 9:30 am-                                  11:30 am. Volunteers will be available to help.
 
Bring all your excess books, CDs, DVDs and videos.  Items will be loosely categorized to help you in your hunt for free entertainment. All books are accepted, including text books, and no swap is needed--you can donate materials, take materials or both!  All ‘unswapped’ items will be reused or recycled.
 
SalemRecycles is the City’s volunteer recycling committee which works to increase recycling and encourage positive recycling practices through educational outreach and special events.  Register now to win a weekly $50 prize in the “Perfect Pick-up” contest co-sponsored by SalemRecycles and the Newark Group!
