Handles stray dogs, neighborhood nuisance problems, injured animals, rabies concerns (flyer available). If unavailable, contact the Salem Police Department. Accepts donations for Injured Animal Account for injured strays.

NOTE: If pets are lost, it is recommended that you provide a description of the pet to your dog officer, city facilities and local vets as well as those in surrounding cities and towns. Rabies concerns may also be referred the Board of Health. During off hours (nights & weekends) contact the Salem Police Department or the Department of Public Works for deceased animals.
