McGlew Park Public Meeting

Public Meeting for McGlew Park6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26 at City Hall Annex120 Washington Street, 3rd floor conference room

 

The City of Salem is holding a public meeting to discuss the renovation of McGlew Park. A landscape architect hired by the City has developed a draft park design based on input from the community and park users. The draft design will be presented at this public meeting. We encourage you to attend the meeting to review the draft park design and provide us with input. We want to hear from you! 

In addition, the City has hired an Environmental Consultant to assess the soils at the site. The soil assessment will help us determine whether remediation of the site will be necessary. The Environmental Consultant will be at the public meeting to present the findings of the soil assessment and will be available for questions.

Reunion Publica del Parque McGlew

La ciudad de Salem ofrecera una reunion publica para hablar sobre la renovacion del parque McGlew. Un architecto cual fue contractado por medio de la ciudad ha desarollado un borrador del diseño basado en las opiniones de las personas comunitarias cual usan el parque. Ese borrador  sera presentado en esa reunion publica.  Los invitamos a que asiste la reunion para revisar el borrador y para que usted su opinion. Queremos saber de usted!

Incluso, la Ciudad a contractado un Consultor de Medio Ambiente para tener accesso a la tierra en el local. La evaluacion de la tierra nos ayudara determiner si la remediacion del sitio sera necesario. El consultor estara disponible en la reunion para presenter los resultado de la evaluacion del local y estara disponible para responder sus preguntas.
