“The Generation Games”: Everyone Can Play

Official Schedule of the Games

SALEM, MA – The City of Salem, the Salem Department of Park, Recreation, and Community Services, the Salem State University (SSU) College of Arts & Sciences, the SSU Sport & Movement Science Department, and Rotterdam University’s Sport Marketing and Management Program are pleased to announce the official schedule for Generation Games to be held in Salem from February 3-5, 2017.

All events are free to participants and the public. The Generation Games are an international sporting event for people of all ages. Beginning in Rotterdam in 2012, the Generation Games were created to bring multiple generations of people together to participate in sports & recreational activities. The goal is to have teams of moms, dads, grandparents, children, and friends come together to have fun, exercise, and communicate together.

It’s easy to participate: all you have to do is show up. Participants will be registered throughout the entire event time and rotating groups through within each activity time slot so everyone gets a chance to play. The games are as easy and convenient as possible for individuals and families to participate. For example, if you cannot make it to Human Foosball at 7:00 pm sharp, you can walk in and register at 8:30 pm and still be able to play.
