Vietnam War Veterans Day Celebration

Please join us on March 29th and 30th, 2024 to recognize National Vietnam War Veterans Day as Americans unite to thank and honor Vietnam veterans and their families for their service and sacrifice.

3/29/24 - 3:00pm - Salem Fire Department Headquarters, 48 Lafayette Street - New fire truck - Ladder 1 Dedication, which will honr all Salem veterans that have served our country with a particular recognition to our Vietnam Veterans.  All are welcome to a reception at Salem VFW, 95 Derby Street, following the ceremony.

3/30/24 - 10:00am - Vietnam Veteran War Memorial Rededication - North Andover High School, 430 Osgood St., N. Andover, MA - 18 Massachusetts communities in attendance - Guest Speakers: Timothy Sullivan former Vietnam "Hanoi Hilton" POW & Dr. John Santiago, MA Secretary of the Executive Office of Veteran Affairs. During this ceremony, the names of our Salem Vietnam Veterans that made the ultimate sacrifice will be read.
