The winter has taken its toll! As the snow melted, street trash washed down the storm drains, into the water, and onto the beaches. Man made items, especially plastic, pollute the water. Every piece of trash removed from the beach is one less piece of marine debris. Join Salem Sound Coastwatch for cleanups of Dead Horse Beach and Collins Cove in Salem on Saturday, May 7 from 9 to 11am. RSVP if possible.
