Purchasing - RFP N-06 Salem Common 1850 Cast Iron Fence Study & Restoration Plan

LEGAL NOTICE
CITY OF SALEM
RFP # N-06

The City of Salem, through its Purchasing Department, is seeking proposals from qualified historic preservation consultants experienced in conducting architectural conservation assessments. Sealed Proposals must be received at the Purchasing Department, Salem City Hall Annex, 120 Washington Street, Salem, Massachusetts 01970, on or before 10:00am Friday, September 2, 2011 at which time and place they will be opened for the following:
        

Salem Common 1850 Cast Iron Fence Study & Restoration Plan

The RFP award is made by the Purchasing Agent and is subject to Mayoral approval. The City of Salem reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities in the Proposal process, if deemed in the City’s best interest.

The RFP Documents containing scope of services, requirements, and conditions will be/are available upon request after 10:00am Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at the Purchasing Department, Salem City Hall Annex, 120 Washington Street, Salem, Massachusetts 01970.

Proposers must meet the following minimum qualifications: a Bachelor’s degree in Historic Preservation, Architectural History, History, Art History, or a closely related field, plus at least two years full_time experience in an area relevant to the project; or a Master’s degree in any of the above_mentioned areas.
