Vinnin Square

Thomas Vinnin served in the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War. He was born in Salem on January 17th, 1747. He completed his training in Colonel Jonathon (John) Glover's regiment (5th Essex Company). He also served in defense of the seacoast under the command of Captain Edward Fettyplace in Marblehead. His time in service was approximately three years.

His square is located at the intersection of Paradise Road, Loring Avenue & Vinnin Street, dedicated in his honor.
