Marc-AurelePrivate Noel Marc-Aurele served in the US Army during World War I. He was born on April 10th, 1893 in St. Pie, Quebec. Prior to his service, he was a resident of 18 Margin Street and worked as a mill operative. Private Marc-Aurele initially enlisted on October 4th, 1917 to the 151st Depot Brigade. He was later transferred to Company L, 325th Infantry, 82nd Division and arrived overseas on April 25th, 1918.

Newspaper ArticleTragically, he died from an accident in Lorraine, France on August 4th, 1918. His remains are buried at the St. Mihiel American Cemetery and Memorial in Lorraine, France. He was the son of J. Leon and Catherine (Damon) Marc-Aurele and brother to Joseph and Leon, both of Worcester, Pierre of Roslindale, Emile and Onesiphore of Hyacinthe, Canada, Euclide of St. Pie, Honoria and Blanche of Montreal, Canada, and Noe of Salem.
