WesolowskiPrivate Konstanty Wesolowski served in the US Army during World War I. He was born on March 12th, 1896 in Krzyuki, Poland. Prior to enlisting, he worked as a shoe worker and lived on 9 Herbert Street. Private Wesolowski initially enlisted on September 18th, 1917 to Battery F, 301st Field Artillery, 76th Division. He was later transferred to Supply Company, 301st Field Artillery, 76th Division.

Tragically, he died of disease in Camp Devens, Massachusetts on May 22nd, 1918. He was the son of Michael and Maryanna (Dombrowska) Wesolowski of Krzyuki, Poland, and brother to Anastazi, Josef, Ignacy, Maryanna, and Julianna.

His square is located at the corner of Derby and Union Streets, dedicated in his honor.
