Roundabout Project at Summer, Norman and Chestnut Streets
The intersecton at Summer Street, Norman Street and Chestnut Street is slated for the installation of a permament traffic roundabout, Spring 2021.
The area is home to high areas of vehicle congestion and accidents and is a dangerous crossing for pedestrians and bikers. The roundabout will increase safety here by decreasing vehicle speeds and congestion while increasing visibilty for pedestrians and bikers.

PAVING UPDATE: FINAL PAVING FOR NORMAN ST/CHESTNUT ST/SUMMER ST IS MONDAY NOVEMBER 8TH. INTERSECTION WILL BE CLOSED BETWEEN 7AM AND APPROXIMATELY 4PM.
