Sealed/tied trash bags in toters

Due to increased concerns for worker safety because of the COVID-19 virus, Waste Management asks that Salem residents place all household trash in bags before placing them in your trash toter for curbside collection. Please ensure that all bags are properly sealed or tied to prevent the contents from spilling. As a reminder, latex gloves go in the trash – not in your recycling toter.
