Jodoin Square

Private First Class Henry Jodoin, and Purple Heart recipient, was a native of 22 Wheatland Street.  Jodoin served in the US Army during World War II. He was born on January 22nd, 1915 and initially enlisted in the military March 18th, 1944 at age 19. 

Tragically, he was killed in action on December 16th, 1944 while being engaged by German forces. He was the son of Adelard and Josephine Jodoin.

His square was approved by the City Council on April 27th, 2017, which is located at the corner of Wheatland Street and Jefferson Avenue, dedicated in his honor.
