Dedication of James J. Koen, Jr. Square

On behalf of the family of Fire Fighter James Koen, Jr. and the Salem Firefighters, you are invited to the dedication of the new James J. Koen, Jr. Square. This event is to be held on Saturday, November 30th at 1 Pm on the corner of Hanson and South Streets in Ward 4.
James J. Koen, Jr. was appointed a Salem firefighter on February 3, 1963 and sacrificed his life in the line of duty on February 23, 1981. Firefighter Koen also served honorably in the US Navy during the Korean conflict.
