Salem Municipal Harbor Plan Update Launch

Join Mayor Kim Driscoll and the Harbor Plan Committee for the launch of Salem’s Municipal Harbor Plan Update (MHP), the process to update the City of Salem’s 2008 Harbor Plan. The MHP will also serve as a Master Plan for Salem's Designated Port Area, which includes the empty land surrounding the Footprint power station.

The Salem MHP Update will entail working with the community to create a shared understanding of issues and opportunities along Salem’s waterfront, including the historically industrial port area. Together, we will craft a plan for the harbor’s future.

This workshop will introduce you to the MHP process, review accomplishments from the 2008 plan, explore the specific sites of the MHP update, and offer a chance for you to share your initial questions and priorities for the plan.
