John E. St. John Jr.

John E. St. John Jr. served in the Massachusetts National Guard during World War I. He was born in July of 1886 in New London, Connecticut. John initially enlisted on June 22nd, 1916 to Battery D, 1st Field Artillery where he served on the Mexican border. He officially reported for duty on July 25th, 1917 and mustered on August 4th, 1917. He arrived overseas on September 9th, 1917. Tragically, he died from disease in France on September 27th, 1918. He was the son of John Sr. and Johanna and brother to Joseph, Arthur, Frank, Emma, and Mary.
