Site Visit: Rosie's Pond Flood Mitigation Project

The Salem Conservation Commission will hold a site visit for the City of Salem’s Rosie’s Pond Flood Mitigation Project on Sunday, August 4 at 10:30am. Meet at the park on Brooks Street (nearest street address is 12 Brooks Street). The purpose of the site visit is to inspect the site of the upcoming flood mitigation work, in particular the proposed amendments to the approved plan, which include modifications to wall sections, drainage infrastructure, and grading in some areas. The project will take place within an area subject to the Wetlands Protection Act (MGL c131§40) and Salem’s Wetlands Protection & Conservation Ordinance.
