COVID-19
The City of Salem’s main response to the COVID19 pandemic is being lead by the Salem Health Department, and more information can be found here at the Mayor's Office's main Covid Information page.
The Traffic and Parking Department has undertaken two main initiatives related to the pandemic, as well as being directly involved in the planning and coordinating of increased outdoor dining space.
Department staff created walking maps for many neighborhoods in the City for residents and visotors who are interested, as well as maps highlighting historic sites and public art throughout the City.
